     The following information is extracted from his obituary. Survivor(s): Philip Cattell, George Cattell, Elizabeth Fielding, Dolly Forsyth and Winnie Cattell.2 Henry Cattell was buried on 19 October 1964 in Asquith Cemetery, Asquith, RM of Vanscoy No. 345, Saskatchewan, CanadaG.1,2

     His name was also recorded as Harry.5
     In the obituary of Annabella Steele who died 15 August 1964, Annabella's husband, Henry Cattell was listed as a survivor.6
     The funeral service of Henry Cattell was held in the Asquith, Saskatchewan Asquith United Church 19 October 1964.2

The death of Mr. Henry Cattell, age 86 years of Asquith, Sask. occurred in a Saskatoon hospital on Oct. 17. The funeral service was held on Monday, October 19 at 3:30 p.m. from the Asquith United Church conducted by Mr. Ken Sievert. The Saskatoon Funeral Home was in charge. Surviving are: two sons: Phillip and George of Asquith, Sask; three daughters: Mrs. Geo Fielding (Elizabeth) of Perth, Ont; Mrs. Ed Forsyth (Dolly) of Clouston, Sask; Miss Winnie Cattell of Saskatoon; 23 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. A. Capstick of Verdun, Quebec. Pallbearers were: Bernie Thue, Hyle Burwell, Fred Lake, Jack Peters, Geo. Chambers, Jim Wurtz. Born in England, Mr. Cattell came to Canada in 1910 to the Asquith district, and had resided in the district until his death. Mr. Cattell was predeceased by his wife on August 15, 1964. In previous years Mr. Cattell was active in the Canadian Order of Forresters before ill health forced his retirement. Interment was made in the family plot in the Asquith Cemetery.

CATTELL - The passing of Mrs. Amy Avidia Cattell, age 83 years, of Oliver Lodge in Saskatoon, occurred at a local hospital on Wednesday, May 2nd, 1990. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 5th at 1:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Wm. Keisman from Asquith United Church, Asquith, Sask. Surviving are two daughters: Phyllis (Archie) Gordon and Joyce (Ken) Huffman both of Asquith, Sask., seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, one brother, Joe Anderson of Saskatoon and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Philip in 1974, her parents; Mr. Jacob and Mrs. Martha Anderson and by three brothers; Walter, Andrew and Alfred. The late Mrs. Cattell was born in Esmond, North Dakota and came to Saskatchewan as a young child. She married Philip Cattell in 1923 and they farmed in the Asquith area. In 1950 they moved their farm home into the town of Asquith and they continued to farm until 1961 when they retired. They resided in Asquith until she moved into Oliver Lodge in 1985. She loved flowers, her yard and her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Asquith United Church Memorium Fund, Asquith, Sask. A Public viewing will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North on Friday evening, May 4th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Asquith Cemetery, Asquith, Sask. Arrangements are in care of PARK FUNERAL CHAPEL.

     George was born on 24 May 1852 in Bristol, Pontiac County, Canada East, United Province of CanadaG, according to his wife's declaration on the 1945 declaration supporting his daughter, Annabella's birth date. Note that on his death registration, his son John declared that he had been born in "Ontario."2,3 George married Joanna Bunting in 1872.4 The informant on his death registration was his son.2 He died on 14 June 1937 in Perth Memorial Hospital, Perth, Drummond Twp., Lanark County, Ontario, CanadaG, at age 85 according to Ontario Death Registration 021924. He was a shoemaker by profession.2 George Steele was buried on 16 June 1937 in Elmwood Cemetery, Perth, Drummond Twp., Lanark County, Ontario, CanadaG.2

     He was referenced, but not by name, in the obituary of his wife Joanna Bunting who died 28 May 1957.5
     The following biographical information is from my personal research, April 2018:
At the time of his son Henry's birth registration in 1884, George gave his occupation as a cordwainer.6

STEELE - THE PASSING OF MRS. Joanna Steele in her 104th year, of Asquith, Sask., occurred at Asquith on May 28. 1957. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30, at 1.30 p.m. (Standard Time) from the Asquith United Church with Major H. Ashley officiating. The Park Funeral Chapel are in charge of the arrangements. Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Henry Cattell of Asquith and one son, Henry of Perth, Ont. 11 grandchildren, 21 great grand-children, and three great great grandchildren. The late Mrs. Steele had resided in Perth, Ont. and came west to make her home with her daughter Mrs. Henry Cattell at Asquith in 1944. She was predeceased by her husband in 1937.      The following information is extracted from her obituary. Survivor(s): George Chambers, Dora Cattell and George Cattell. Predeceased: Harry Chambers and Harry Chambers.2 Selina died on 11 March 1967 at home in the the Avondale district, south of Asquith, RM of Vanscoy No. 345, Saskatchewan, CanadaG.1,2 She was buried on 15 March 1967 in Asquith Cemetery, Asquith, RM of Vanscoy No. 345, Saskatchewan, CanadaG.2

     Her name was also recorded as Cellina Marshall acording to her son George's birth registration.4

CHAMBERS--THE DEATH OF MRS. Selina Chambers, age 92 years, pioneer resident of the Asquith district, occurred at her home on March 11, 1967. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15 at 1:30 p.m. M.S.T. from Asquith United Church, conducted by Rev. C. Sievert. Saskatoon Funeral Home will be in charge. Surviving are: one son, George of Asquith and one daughter. Mrs. George Cattell (Dora) of Asquith, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; Mrs. Chambers was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1943 and by a son, Harry in 1918. Born in Nottingham, England, Mrs. Chambers came to Canada in 1905, and with her husband, homesteaded in the Asquith district where she resided until her passing. Interment will take place in the Asquith Cemetery.

     Harry Chambers began military service on 27 January 1916 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, CanadaG. He listed his next-of-kin as Harry Chambers on his Attestation (enlistment) papers.2 Harry Chambers was killed in action on 29 September 1918. He died in the attack on Sancourt and Blecourt which was captured by the Canadian Corps on the 29th September, 1918, the day Harry died. The family gratefully decline floral tributes, memorial gifts may be made to the Sask. Heart Fund 708 Canada Bldg., Saskatoon. Surviving are: his loving wife Kathleen: one son, Larry of Lloydminster, Sask; one daughter. Mrs. John Kadler (Linda) of Birch Hills. Sask; one sister, Mrs. Dora Cattell of Asquith, Sask. Mr. Chambers was predeceased by his parents and by one brother Harry in the First World War. Born in Asquith, Mr. Chambers took his schooling there and later operated a dairy farm at Asquith until his retirement in 1967 and then operated a TV repair service. Mr. Chambers was a member of the Asquith United Church and served on the Asquith town council, the board of the Co-op and the Credit Union, at Asquith. Interment will be made in the Asquith Cemetery.
