     Charles August Junop died on 2 April 1957 at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, at age 77.14,3 The cause of his death was given as a heart attack.15

     Charles August Junop was buried on 5 April 1957 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The honorary pallbearers were: W. H. Pilgrim, W. S. Orchard and F. Summach Sr.3,16
     He was commonly known as August.7,8

     According to Paul Junop: "In 1912, August Junop went west on the CNR rail and from money saved, he bought on half of a section of land between Asquith and Delisle." This is confirmed in the Delisle history book that said he came west on the Canadian Northern Railway in 1912. However, he was enumerated in the Asquith area in the 1911 census.2,7
     August and Carrie Junop appeared on the 1916 Census of Canadian Prairie Provinces, RM of Loganton, Saskatchewan, enumerated 7 June 1916, described as a farmer and a Methodist. Their son Arden was listed as living with them. Two servants, Gilbert Hitching and Lilian Russel were included in this household.8
     August and Caroline Junip appeared on the 1921 Canadian Census of RM of Loganton, Saskatchewan, enumerated 1 June 1921. August was described as a farmer. Their children Arden, Margarete, Mildred and Winnifred were listed as living with them.9
     August Junop and family attended the Rosenthal School Pals Reunion.
On Dominion Day (July 1) in 1931, August and Minnie Summach hosted a reunion of local families in which at least one of the parents had attended Rosenthal school in Renfrew County, Ontario. A photographer from Saskatoon took a panoramic photograph of about 14 families and other guests.17,18

I'm not sure who the presenter, "L. Kielo", of this photo to Fred and Esther was, but the Kielo's were Esther's cousins.13
