The bride was lovely in her wedding gown of white sheer and she carried a bouquet of pink and yellow roses and pink carnations. Her sister Grace, as bridesmaid, wore a floor-length gown of blue sheer and carried baby mums and snapdragons. Best man was Mr. Victor Robinson and ushers were Messrs Tommy Wellwood and Clifford Winder. Mrs. A. Downey played the wedding music. At the reception held at the home of the bride's parents Mr. and Mrs. Pilgrim, received the guests, the bride's mother wearing an afternoon frock of blue with navy accessories. The bridegroom's mother, chose for the occasion a black ensemble. For the wedding trip to Saskatoon and Young the bride donned a brown costume with tweed coat and blue accessories. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Pilgrim and family, Mrs. J. Ghertzen and Jimmy, Swift Current, Mr. and Mrs. Fred, Wilcox, Arelee (sic.)6
