     Fredrick Witt and Louisa appeared on the 1871 Canadian Census of Alice Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 2 April 1871. Fredrick was enumerated as a farmer. Their children Fredrick and John were listed as living with them.7
     Frederick Witt appeared on the 1881 Canadian Census of Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 4 April 1881, enumerated as Lutheran and a Farmer. His son Frederick was listed as living with him. As well as his daughter-in-law, Anne Witt and granddaughter, Eliza Witt. Note that the census image is so faint that information should be considered tentative.4

     She died on 1 October 1883 at Alice Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, at age 22. Her husband, Fred registered her passing twice. Once as Annie Noack, died on Oct 1, and registered on Oct 2 (according to Ontario Death Registration 015166.) J M Kennedy was the registrar. The other was a later registration in 1884, giving the date of death as Oct 5, 1883 and not given in person, but referenced Frederick Witt. (according to Ontario Death Registration 016414.) J M Kennedy was again the registrar.3,12,13 The informant on her death registration was her husband, Fred Witt.12      Anna Noack was buried at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church (Locksley), Alice Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.3

     She died on 23 August 1935 at her home at Pembroke, Alice Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, at age 56.2,4,3,6,5 The informant on her death registration was her husband, Michael J. Debursey.6      Louisa Witt was buried on 25 August 1935 at St. Columba's Roman Catholic Cemetery - Block A1, Pembroke, Alice Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.10

Mrs. Michael Debursey Dies in Pembroke Home
     Special to the Journal
     PEMBROKE, Ont, Aug. 23rd--Mrs. Louisa Debursey, wife of Michael J. (Mick) Debursey, who operates a taxi business here, died suddenly at her home, 446 Miller street early this morning. News of her death came as a distinct shook to her many friends, she being apparently in good health;
     Mrs. Debursey was born in Alice Township, 64 years ago, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Witt, and lived in Pembroke since she was a girl. A devout Roman Catholic, she attended St John the Baptist Church and had numerous friends, who will mourn her passing deeply.
     Surviving beside her husband. are three sons, Ebbie, James and Aloysius, all at home; two daughters, Mrs. H. McLelland, Montreal and Miss Dorothy, at home; three brothers. August and William Witt, Pembroke, Fred Witt. Alice Township and one grandchild,
     The funeral is being held on Sunday afternoon from her residence to St. John the Baptist Church and burial will take place in the. church cemetery.5

Their children Mena and Lena were listed as living with them. As well as his mother Henretta Ferk and his brother August Ferk.8
     He was commonly known as William.5,11,12 His name was also recorded as Wilhelm Verch.13,14,15,16 William Verch of Killaloe, ON was the informant on the death registration of his mother, Henrietta S. Schroeder, who died on 1 November 1909.17
     In the obituary of Carl August Verch who died 1 April 1924, his brother, William Verch was listed as a survivor.5

Their son Ferdinand was listed as living with them. What was his relationship to lodgers William Ferk (age 64 and a widower) and Albert Ferk (age 24) who were both listed as laborers? Despite the ditto mark's used for their surname, I presume they were Albertina/Delila's father and brother?7
