     She was also known as Ethel Theresa Weber according to her grave marker.⁴ She was a witness After both of their parents died of the flu in November 1918, Edith looked after Mabel and Ethel Weber until their grandfather Ernest Weber and his brother-in-law, Charles Ristow came from Ontario to pick them up. Edith accompanied them back to Renfrew County where they were raised by Ernest and his wife, Matilda.⁷ She , bridesmaid,was listed as a witness to the marriage of Ernest James Junop and Myrtle May Weber on 7 September 1937 at Ontario, Canada.^8,9,7
