Seigel -- Markus
PEMBROKE, June 6. — A very pretty June wedding took place in the Evangelical church. Tuesday, June 4, at 12.00 o'clock noon, when Esther L. Markus was united in marriage to Wesley L. Seigel. Rev. W. O. Hayne officiating. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother, Mr. L. Markus, to the strains of the bridal chorus from Lohengrin, played by Mrs. Lesley Lisk, was charmingly gowned in bridal satin, her veil in close head fitting style was caught with orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of pink bridal roses and lilies of the valley. The bride's only attendant was Miss Madeline Dunlop and Mr. Esmer Seigel was groomsman. Following the wedding ceremony a wedding breakfast was held at the home of Mrs. B. Boshart, 344 James street, for the immediate relatives and friends of the young couple, the drawing room and dining room looking most attractive with their decorations of early summer flowers. After the wedding breakfast the young couple left for Ottawa and other points and on their return Mr. and Mrs. Seigel will reside in Pembroke.8
